Website for Auden Academy, an IGCSE math tutoring business, built solo with Laravel and Filament: trial booking, blog, resources, and funnel analytics.

Built and maintain the website for Auden Academy, a math tutoring business in Indonesia that prepares international-school students for Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A-Level, and UTBK. The site’s job is to turn visits into free trial bookings, so most of the work went into the booking flow, spam protection, and measuring where visitors drop off. I built it end to end on my own, from the Laravel backend and admin panel to the frontend and analytics.

Technical Implementation:

  • Built the app with Laravel 13, Blade, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS 4, with a Filament 4 admin panel for posts, categories, learning resources, and trial bookings
  • Developed the trial booking flow:
    • Separate parent and student forms with international phone number input
    • Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection, verified on the server
    • Queued email notifications to the admin team through Resend
  • Built a pricing configurator that switches between private and semi-private classes and between per-session and package pricing
  • Added a markdown blog with categories and tags, and a learning-resource library filtered by tag
  • Generated the sitemap with Spatie Sitemap for search engines
  • Instrumented the conversion funnel in GA4 with a typed event layer: one delegated click listener reads data-ev attributes on server-rendered buttons, and Alpine handlers fire form start, submit, error, and lead events
  • Covered booking, Turnstile verification, pricing, and analytics markup with Pest feature tests
  • Wrote a script that renders Meta video ads frame by frame from an HTML animation with headless Chrome, so ad variants can be re-rendered in different sizes
