ModernVet Pet Care App (2025-now)

Working as a product engineer at ModernVet, a veterinary clinic network in Jakarta that offers clinic visits, home visits, and video teleconsultation. Pet owners use the ModernVet app to book visits, pay bills, manage their pets’ records, join teleconsults, and collect rewards. Features ship end-to-end: the Node.js API, the Flutter UI, the admin CMS screens staff use, and the automated tests that cover them.

Technical Implementation:

  • Developed the MV Plus paid membership across the backend, app, and CMS:
    • Member hub, upgrade flow, and an activation screen updated live over server-sent events
    • Renewal reminders through scheduled jobs and push notifications
    • A benefit engine that matches clinic bill items by service code and quotes membership discounts and quotas
    • A savings summary on the Membership & Rewards hub
    • A membership tab and staff benefit redemption in the admin CMS (Next.js, Refine, Ant Design)
  • Built payment and promotion flows on Xendit (cards, QRIS, e-wallets, paylater), including voucher rules, refunds, and invoice PDFs
  • Shipped doctor ratings, from the API to the app UI
  • Hardened the app with integrity checks on iOS and Android, certificate pinning with automated expiry alerts, and OTP rate limiting
  • Maintained the app platform: maintenance mode, HTTP response caching, a video SDK migration for teleconsults, deep linking, and the Android Gradle Kotlin DSL migration
  • Built a nightly Playwright job that audits clinical-record completeness and reports to Google Sheets for the clinical team
  • Wrote Maestro end-to-end flows for app features and Jest tests for backend changes
  • Maintained the mobile CI pipelines on GitHub Actions and Codemagic (Flutter and Xcode upgrades, signing, and provisioning)
